Dear Ladies,
On a beautiful late spring afternoon, fifteen years ago, two
young women graduated from the same college. They were very
much alike, these two young women. Both had been better than
average students, both were likeable and both – as young
women are – were filled with ambitious dreams for the
future.
Recently, these women returned to their college for their
15th reunion.
They were still very much alike. Both were happily married.
Both had beautiful children. And both, it turned out, had
similar careers and even lived in their old neighbourhood.
But there was a difference. One of the women felt
alone and unloved. She felt something was missing in her
relationship with people around her. The other had every
single one of her heart’s desires. Love and respect from
those that matters to her.
What made the difference?
